While crafting my new memoir Death of a Childhood, my editors and I had to cut pages and pages so you don’t lose track of the narrative, and dump it for another book about the advent of adolescence and the 1989 Baltimore Orioles. But that has left me with more great vignettes from 1989. So I will be sharing those periodically here, as well as other very true stories culled from the depths of my mind (and visual aids) about my childhood and adolescence. Play Ball!
